About me as an online trainer

Fitness and coaching

I started my fitness journey just after all the lockdowns in 2021, starting from the photo you see on the right.

Unlike many trainers or exercise coaches who do online fitness coaching, i did not start with a great body or the best genetics.

I enjoy socialising and eating out with friends and family who are not into the gym or dieting.

i was like most, i gain weight very easily and enjoy a drink at the weekend, but i have learned over the years how to balance this and create a physique that i wanted to achieve whilst balancing doing the things i enjoy.

These skills and hacks i have learned i want to pass onto others who have the drive to want to build a better physique through online fitness coaching.

Before

I had always been into fitness and nutrition, but after 2020 and lockdown like many people i lost all motivation to keep on top of diet and exercise which lead to excessive weight gain, this photo was taken at the start of 2021 and i started the year determined to change my physique and my life.

It was not easy, and the first few months was a real struggle, but staying patient and persistent i kept on going slowly adding more and more over time as i felt needed, something i think is greatly lacking in today’s online fitness or gym lifestyle today is slowly getting more and more focused and adding things over time vs all in one go, developing a love for fitness takes time.

Fast forward to 2024 and i did exactly that, with a new found enjoyment for diet and exercise, learning to cook great, healthy meals and losing 75 pounds as well as adding muscle in the process, this process was long, hard work and i learned so much along the way, this information i wanted to pass onto other people to help transform their physiques through online fitness coaching.

  • If you are committed to the plan set out for you and prepared to walk in those steps, combined with being patient and trusting in the process, online coaching is 100% worth it, if not you can cancel your plan at anytime.

  • There are many online fitness coaches, picking the right one can be challenging, best advise it to look at someone who has achieved similar to what you are wanting to, if you desire to go from skinny to muscular, find someone who has done that, if you are overweight and wish to make a big lifestyle change, pick a coach that has done that, if you want to do a bodybuilding show or photo shoot, you can find a coach who has done exactly that.

  • Absolutely! You'll know exactly how many calories, protein, carbohydrates and fats you should be consuming each day. You'll know what foods to eat and what foods are best avoided. You'll know what will be required pre and post-workout to optimise your performance and recovery. I'll inform you on how to plan/schedule your meals to optimise protein synthesis (muscle gain). All this whilst providing delicious recipes to help keep things exciting. I will completely remove the guesswork!

  • Absolutely! It'll be my job to ensure you're doing veganism the right way, the safe way, a way in which is conducive to your goals and avoids the infamous nutrient deficiencies that can accrue from eliminated meat, fish and dairy.

  • I ask that you record your sets and reps in the gym and send them to me so that i can properly see your form and provide recommendations.

  • Online personal training involves your coach creating for you an online plan personalised to you based on what your goals are in fitness, combined with weekly check ins to make sure the plan is being followed and that we are making progress to where you want to go.

  • We do weekly check in's at a date and time that works best for you.

  • I do recommend that you have a gym membership to get the maximum results from your coaching.

  • Most clients see progress after just a few weeks of following their plan. How long it'll take to achieve your desired body composition goal, really depends on what your goal is. I'll do everything in my power to help you achieve your physique goal as quickly as possible. In fact, I pride myself on helping people transform their body in the quickest possible time.

  • Your monthly subscription can be cancelled at any time. Simply let me know that you wish to cancel before the next payment is due, and I'll cancel it. Alternatively, you can cancel directly via your customer portal (Stripe). Once cancelled, you will not be charged again and will be able to continue the service until the end of your current payment period.

  • No, I'll design a plan to fit around your lifestyle. Most of my clients train 3 to 4 times per week, but I have clients who train once per week and have others who train over seven times per week. I'll design the plan around what is optimal whilst ensuring it's realistic.

  • No, only you and I will have access to your progress photos. The progress photos and transformations you see on my website, and on my social media platforms are all at the consent of clients who want to share their fantastic progression.

The price of the service is £100.00 per month to hire me as your full-time Online Personal Trainer / One to one Online Coach.

When you compare the price to local in-person personal training, you can see that Online Coaching is the most cost-effective way of hiring a coach, especially if you're based in London UK. 

One to one Personal Trainers based in cities like London charge between £40-£65 per session, if you're having 2-3 sessions per week, it can be quite costly so you can leverage a coach with experience for a much cheaper price then an in person coach.

Online coaching founders note

I recognise that you may have found my service during a challenging time in your life, in fact, 74% of my inbound clients i coach report that the period before they signed up with me had been more stressful than usual. A further 11% reported that they were recovering from a particularly traumatic circumstance, which was often the trigger for starting a health initiative or coach based program that could help them turn things around. So I’ve built my service with that in mind. Both in terms of building you a plan that meets you where you are and in the level of support and accountability I’ll provide throughout the coaching process.

I’ve built this service to be transformative. In that, yes, you’ll have achieved excellent fitness results by the end of the program, I think thats a given. Perhaps more significantly, you’ll also have a better relationship with exercise and food moving forward. I’m confident in that because you’ll have the knowledge, mindset and established habits that will allow you to maintain everything you achieve.

On a personal note, I understand what it’s like to be frustrated by my own fitness results or to feel burned out from work pressures, simply wanting to feel like myself again. So I’ve built my entire fitness strategy around solving the real-world problems busy people face because after solving my own fitness challenges and developing methods to stay in shape whilst running a business,  I walk in shoes more like my clients than my contemporaries.
